Hi
I am new to this forum and glad I found it. I rescued a canvas and wood canoe from my mothers barn outside Philadelphia. This was my grandfathers but I have no idea how old it is. I recall from when I was young that it is an Old Town and had a badge on the deck - but that seems to have fallen off in the dirt of the barn. Canvas and all wood seems to be in okay shape although in need of paint, varnish and clean up from some critter chewing on the gunwales. I recall a patch job on peeling canvas on one end back in the late 1970's.
Any help with confirmation of manufacturer, year and potential value would be most appreciated. I would also like to have this restored and need to find someone to do that in new england - ideally MA, ME, NH or VT.
I added an album with photos (Canoe 127871 16) but not sure how to connect it to this post.
Thank you for any help!
Bob
