Has anybody had any long term success sealing chalk -based Old Town canvas filler with Smith's cpes,or anything else? Canoes built in the '60's seem to be the worst. The fillers are old enough for the solvent/ binder or whatever to have disappeared leaving white dust, Sometimes, on a reasonably good canvas.
