Hi--
Old Town 177651 is a 15 foot trapper model canoe finished February 9-21, 1967. It has a keel and has a "natural" finish-- the record states it was polypropylene covered and ADM resin was used. Other folks here know more about the restoration of canoes with this type of finish, so you should get some good advice regarding your project. The canoe was sent to San Francisco, CA, on February 22, 1967. Happy Washington's B-day!
I should mention that information Old Town included on their build records dwindled over the years... they stopped using the AA--CS--GS designations, and wood species aren't specified... so your canoe's build record isn't as detailed as a pre-WWII would be. I'll add the page from the 1967 OT catalog which describes the trapper model. Love the picture on that page! Image is courtesy "The Complete Old Town Canoe Company Catalog Collection, 1901- 1993", available on CD from
http://www.wcha.org/catalog/ and

The scan of your build record is attached below-- click on it to get a larger image. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at
http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details. I hope that you and anyone else reading this will join or renew membership in the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See
http://www.wcha.org/wcha/ to learn more about the WCHA and
http://www.wcha.org/join.php to renew.
It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
