LOVES Wooden Canoes
Know most Forum participants and well aware of the fun at Assembly and need no extra encouragement from me to attend, but for any others:

300+ wooden canoes
300+ other wooden canoe enthusiasts
Many vendors of parts and accessories
WCHA store items
Lake paddling and great canoe sailing in the scenic Adirondack Mountains
A program that features Rushton history, with many examples for view
Great kids and family friendly activities
The Paddle-by canoe parade and salute

What more can I say to encourage your attendance?
You don't need to bring a canoe - there are multiple members with canoes enough to share.

Below is a photo from last year, David Kingsbury with me and my Kevin Martin courting canoe built on an original Kingbury mold. The Assembly is a great place to connect with canoe history too.

The photos you'll find on the forum will be great, but not as great as being there!
Hope you can make it.
Thanks!
