Northland Canoe information request

Hello. I bought a cottage a few years ago and with the purchase. And a beautiful rarely used Northland Canoe (there’s a number engraved on the inside of the canoe - 10770). Looks like it’s in excellent condition ( although, admittedly I don’t know anything about canoes). Looking to see how much I should sell it for ? Thank you

Hi everyone,

I have just found this site, and am thrilled to find so much useful information. I am hoping someone here can provide me a bit of general info regarding my boat. First, a story:

While working at a summer resort about ten years ago, I met an elderly man who had been coming to the resort for many years. He alone among the guests would bring his own canoe. He preferred his 15' cedar stripper to the loud aluminum Grummans available for rent. How much is my old canoe worth?

One of the most common questions that gets sent to the WCHA webmasters is "how much is my old canoe worth?" Tim Hewitt's responses over the years have included the following comments:

Any wooden or wood/canvas canoe in usable condition is worth $1000 - $1500.
