NIckerson canoes

Does anyone know anything about the builder "M.A. Nickerson- Canton N.Y." building sometime around 1895- 1910? I have not seen the canoe but a customer was asking about a canoe that they have in storage. I'm not sure if the canoe is canvased or all wood. The customer was not very good in describing the canoe except for the name plate on the bow!
Thanks.

Myron Nickerson worked 1887-1907, first for Rushton, then on his own.

As far as I know, he built Adirondack guideboats and canoes built in the guideboat manner.

He also ran a livery on the Grass River in Canton. Therefore, it would also be possible canoes could be marked with his name that were built by others.
