Newbi here, Max Anderson question, thx

I'm sorry, not enough time to figure it out now...but the sail poles are good and so is the rudder and I'm guessing it's called the "outrigger boards?"

Yes, the sail rig looks decent. The bits I can see, the leeboards, rudder gudgeons and mast seat, are all Old Town parts.

I was looking at the boat earlier thinking what it must have looked like 50 years ago, so nice. Got a few suggestions from some friends, one mentioned donating it to the ADK boat museum, another friend thought about "tinkering around" with it, I thought about a museum in CT that I believe has a Max boat there for a display. One of the club members on this site will check it out in a few weeks. When it's nice outside oneday I'll put it on the grass and see if I can set up the sail for a few pics. Maybe a Halloween display and be an old pirate!

YIKES! I finally saw the pictures. What a bummer. They are beautiful canoes, and one of a type I don't have. I have been keeping an eye out for one, but no luck.

Max Anderssons canoe, possibly the best you will see.
