Dear Midlife Crisis Dan,

Thank you so much for posting this. I believe everyone should attempt to try this to see how viable this. Everyone should send me a paddle in this manner. When they start arriving, I will post, in this forum, the results. To further flesh out the test, send only high quality or value paddles so we can evaluate how well the Postal Service treats these beloved items.
 
Provide your mailing address. I may have a precious Beaver Brand paddle to send along. Every now and then a canoe will come with paddles, sometimes antique, more often than not, total junk, and never Shaw and Tenney.
