my newly aquired old town 113850 18

The build record shows that Old Town #113850 was an 18-foot AA (or top quality) OTCA with mahogany gunwales, decks, thwarts and seats. It had a keel, outside stems, and may have had half ribs (there's a notation but I can't tell if it's real). The canoe was built between 1934 and 1936 and shipped in 1938 to North Chelmsford, Mass. It was dark green in color.

This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
