My long journey almost finished! Restoration

This is an early Lakefield , or possibly Peterborough lake queen. No model or serial present. A good identifier would be the copper (not brass) stem bands. I started the restoration in April 2021 and am fininishing in the next week or so. This was a great starting point, no rot, no breaks, no wood working. Here are a few pictures.

Lovely! those brass tacks look so good against the cedar while you're on the water! based on how you got it, maybe name her SILVERHEELS lol
 
Silverheels it is lol it was alot of work but worth it! That's 2nd varnish on the outside. Will flip it tomorrow and finish the inside. I figure 6 coats will do :)
