I have a opportunity to purchase a 20' Morris canoe. Ribs and planking are good. Needs inwales /outwales, canvas. Asking price is $500.00 ?He says the plate has L3190. Does anyone know the year this was made. Also is this a fair price. Owner says he thinks its probably from around 1909? but isn't sure.Thanks for any help you can give me.Greg

That plate is likely SN 13190 not L3190.
That put's it in the 1915ish range.

A 20 footer is gem....not too many of those are around. I have never seen one.

Thank you for the information. I am picking up the Morris and another one that I am not sure who made on Friday. When I get them home I will take and post pictures. Thanks again for the help. I joined the WCHA last month and already wish I had known about it sooner.
