The Molitor was introduced in the mid 1960's and continued to 1999. The main features (as advertised) were "torpedo" ends, o/s stems, long decks, oval mahogany gunwales with the seats bolted up close under the gunwales...eliminating the need for thwarts. You mentioned that you "saw thwarts and no seats", you might want to take a closer look and if you can get a pic, that would really help.
