Denise MsWdnBoat
Breaker of tradition
Time to get started!
Dead center break. it's there.. just hard to see. Not sure I want a splice there.. maybe a block under it (both sides) to give it a look like there was a reason for the doubling of the rail? I do have ash and Alaskan yellow cedar if I want to give up the mahogany out rails, but I'd rather not.
Got one outer stem off without breaking... although just barely
She was only stored outdoors a couple of years, the black mold and beginning of rot in the apex of the stems and deck is very evident.
All this talk about what to cover the boat with has me thinking not to use canvas this time around.
