Kennebec Type A

I am new to this site, and just found out that my 17 foot Kennebec was built in 1929, I had no idea! What a fantastic resource....
I was also told that it is a Type A. I searched around and could not find a description of what that means. Can someone help?

See the attached 1929 catalog page that describes Type A and Type B canoes. Basically, Type A is plain, Type B is fancy...
