Morris Elliott of Kanaka Creek Canoes here in B.C. is closing his doors. All is equipment, lumber, small and large tools are being sold as well as all his finished canoes. His wife will is holding the sale at their house on July 11th between 1:00 pm to 6:00pm at 24733 Halnor Avenue, Maple Ridge, BC.
Due to failing health, Morris is no longer able to work in his shop. Several members here already purchased some his forms. I have been to the shop over the years and he has a nice set up. Don't know if he still has it, but he had a nice birch bark covered canoe as well as several new and restored canoes. Many of the boats have been used in several famous movies filmed here.
