Is this too far gone?

My neighbor gave me this canoe, I am wondering if it is too far gone to repair. Can anyone here tell me who the manufacture of this canoe is or was?

Others more knowledgable than I should be able to help with the manufacturer, but it looks like a perfectly good project boat... Are there any parts where the wood is rotting?

Thanks for your responses. This canoe has sat out in the weather for about 10 years and the wood feels pretty soft. I am going to hang it up in the garage while I research the restoration process for this boat.

I found the number 319 stamped on both stems today. Does this mean it is boat 319?
