By summer the baby will be ready for canoeing. A baby that age is much better in a canoe then a dog.

Congrats Mark! I have 2 grandsons, oldest will be 3 in February, he loves to go for a paddle in the canoe with me, the other one is 16 months old, won't sit still long enough yet!!
