The Old Town canoe with serial number 121026 is an 18 foot long, GS (Guide Special or utility) grade, Guide model with open spruce gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, half ribs, and a keel. It was built between March and June, 1937. The original exterior paint color was G. S. (Guide's Special) green. It was shipped on August 25th, 1937 to Aberdeen, Mississippi.
The Old Town canoe with serial number 145405 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Yankee model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, a keel, and oustside stems. It was built between May and July, 1946. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on July 25th, 1946 to Detroit, Michigan.
