Hello everyone!
My wife and I just got our first wood and canvas canoe from an older couple nearby. It was built by Lee Labelle in 2007. The folks we got it from said it is a copy of a White but it doesn't look quite right to me, not that it really matters in the end.
The boat has been used a lot and I'll need to recanvas it, there are several sail tape patches particularly along the sheerline. I have done canvas decks on sailboats but this will be my first canoe, should be fun. We are just enjoying it as is for the fall.
I look forward to learning from all you folks and enjoying all your neat canoe pictures.
