There are no known serial number records available from the White Canoe Company like there are from a few other manufacturers so you can't find out much. They did use a format that offers some information so it is likely that you have a canoe that is 15 feet long which was built in 1949 with serial number 1099. Hopefully this is enough,

Thank you Benson. The New Hampshire Guides' Asso. has four of these canoes. They were used for guide competitions many years ago (racing, jousting, ect.). This particular canoe is on display at the boat museum in Wolfeboro, NH. It is on loan to them from the NHGA. I kind of figured that it was length-year-serial number. I was in hopes that the NHGA special ordered them and I could find that info. like Old Towns, but I guess there will be that much mystery to these boats forever. Again thanks for getting back to me.

Just visited that museum! The canoe is the one in the middle.
