E. M. White Model 1

I've acquired an EM White Model 1....I think.
It's 15' in length 11" deep and a 31 " beam. Dan's identification web page sorta confirmed that. White's are uncomon in this part of the country, and a search of the forum shows up very little (or nothing) on this model. It is "slight" in stature...almost feminine, as it might be a "ladies canoe". Is this model common, or have I found something unusual?

Don't know how rare they are (probably very), but the dimensions are about the only ones that interest me in the way of canvas canoes anymore. Don't suppose you are going to part with it?

Yes but..

I haven't personally seen another EM White like my early 16 footer. Never seen so much tumblehhome on a White either, dead sexy Danny Boy, IMHO! I saw a lightweight at the NH show, not sure the length. I think mine is a "Regular" model. Prettiest lines of any canoe I have, very delicate. Dave, does your boat have any tumblehome?

Andre,
That canoe is nothing more than a willow leaf. Cool lines!
At 6'4" it would be too tiny for me....
Good score Chris Pearson!!

Yup i'd need one for each foot for my 260lbs. That was more for Chris; that is a really kool looking canoe, and if finished at that weight it would really be something! He's getting quite the nice collection of stuff, eh!

If it can't be paddled, it can still be admired! But..... With one of Seavey's leather saddles, I won't snap those sweet thwarts! Another reason to lose weight too!
