Chestnut decals

I also could use a couple.
The ones I was planning to put on my Fox ended up on a Prospector. It seems to me that once I realized that the WCHA was not offering them, I looked around and found some from a different source. Not in a hurry, I put off buying them. I suppose I should circle back. By now (over a year) I figured WCHA would have them again.

Roger MacGregor was the original source for the restoration decals for Chestnut, Peterborough, and Canadian Canoe Co. A number of years ago he gifted all of his business items to the Canadian Canoe Museum, who was the source of these decals for a time. At present, they only show vinyl stickers on their online store. They may be the ones to contact about making the restoration decals available again.

A good colour printer and some slide transfer paper and you are good to go. I did this on my old Peterborough cedar rib and a Chestnut. Slip them on , let them dry and then a couple of coats of varnish to fix and protect. Better than stick on vinyl ones.

Nick, Looks like you just opened for business. :) Let me know where to send my order.
Ha! The printer went back to Xerox when I retired. I miss the quality printing but not the quarterly lease payments. A decent home colour printer will do the job but you need to “fix”the ink. Apparently hairspray is the home fix but I don’t stock that ‍‍‍
