Canvas and cedar builder in the Calgary area

Hi Everyone, I have an interest in building one of these great canoes but have realized that it is a bit beyond my skill level just now. I am wondering if there is a reputable builder in the Calgary area that I could chat with about the process?

Hi Marlow there are several members of my canoe club http://www.bowwaters.org/ who have built boats in the past,also some very knowledgeable people there,check out our new forum on the website,also undercurrents in bowness has a very knowledgeable person who does repairs(also a member of the club) I am currently rebuilding a peterborough otanobee at our boathouse at the club send me your contact info and I could call you next time I'm going down to work on it
