This boat is finished as shown in the links below. It appears that they might have made about 299 of the full sized canvas sea models from 1929 to 1953 or about 12 per year. The surprise was that they continued to sell them for 12 years after they stopped being listed in the catalog. The original purpose of this form remains a mystery. A likely possibility is that this was made when Old Town first started thinking about building the Sea Model and wanted to see how it might look. Another mystery,
