A Contest?

Is this a contest? I am suggesting "no" to the question "Old Town Canoes?" and am thinking maybe E.M. White.

Did the ebay listing get changed? Because now the seller is thinking "possibly an e.m. white canoe." Somehow I don't suppose that's coincidental...

I told him the canoes didn't appear to me to be Old Towns, but might be E.M. Whites. Like many eBay sellers, he doesn't want to be misleading. As we know, many people think all wood/canvas canoes are Old Towns. If anyone else here thinks the canoes might be something else, the seller would probably appreciate any information.

I like looking at canoe postcards and photos on eBay and trying to figure out who might have built the canoes.
