1903 Rushton Indian Girl

Would anyone have photos they could share of early wood canvas Rushton's with long decks and combing.
I believe the combing on my custom order Indian Girl were replaced at some point and not very well executed.
Starting the restoration and want to make it right.
Also any photos of the seat caning pattern for the period would be helpful.

Rushton Indian Girl, 16', #5213, circa 1915. Its bones were gifted to me a year ago by my buddy and WCHA guru Mike/MGC. Hope I did you proud!

As you can see this IG has long decks, half ribs, and external stems. It's mostly original except for: new seats, 1 new thwart, several replaced ribs (and all the rib tips), and long decks and coping (which are near exact copies of the originals). The external stems are interesting as they are oval shaped in profile but with the inner & outer ends flattened to 3/8" to fit against the canoe's stem on the inner side and stem band on the outer...

I couldn't resist and brought her home today. The plan is to be a good steward of this elegant old girl for the next 20 years or so and use her well. Long Decks; Interesting outside stem detail; Decal; Closed Gunnels; Original Canvas; Possibly original cane on bow seat. Rushton Paddle. Lateen Sail Rig. Short term plan is to consider any changes or repairs very carefully (other than replace the thwart broken by a careless worker a day before I bought her http://forums.wcha.org/images/smilies/mad.png).

Hi, Looking on info for this canoe. I don't think it is an Old Town though. Serial number is stamped like an Old Town, but not burned in. # 5358 16
