The Old Town canoe with serial number 112733 is an 18 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, square stern paddling model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, a keel, outside stems, sponsons, and a painter ring. It was built between July, 1933 and February, 1934. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May, 12th, 1934 to Old Town, Maine. The back side of this record shows that it came back for repairs in June, 1938 and was returned to Pea Cove, Maine.
