My guess is that this may be a canoe from Ed Eustice of Arbor Vitae canoes at 4 Court St, Sussex, New Brunswick, E4E 1N8, Canada (506) 433-2013. He doesn't appear to have a published web site or email so you will probably need to call or write a letter. The picture below from Google street view shows his sign on the building. Good luck,

I start light sending hull before refreshing paint but I don’t know what I need to do with existing paint cracks/ not canvas/ ?
