Does anyone know a paricular brand mildicide to look for in Canada (and possibly which stores or chain stores I should check)?

Home Hardware sell a so called "Clear Wood Preservative" containing Zinc Naphtenate.

So I suppose I could mix the 'wood preservative' that contains the zinc naphtenate with the oil of my choice (linseed, tung, etc..)?

Do you think it's necessary to mix any kind of mildicide with Deks Olje #1?
