Hello, this is up for sale locally and I'm looking to get a bit more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It Bark that has been varnished. I have not seen anything like this before.

    Thanks!! 20210518_122417.jpg 20210518_122331.jpg

This looks like a molded plywood canoe. The oldest versions of these were made by Haskell as described at https://woodencanoemuseum.org/index.php/builder-history/haskell-boat-company but this looks newer than that. Many others appeared in the 1940s and 1950s including some from U.S. Molded and one from U. S. Plywood known as the Weldwood. The serial number 225 in Roman numerals is interesting. Please respond here if you ever figure out who made it. Thanks,

    Benson
