What Happened to Great Spirit Canoes of New Brunswick?

They appear to have gone out of business. Their web site at greatspiritcanoes.com was last active in late 2017 and the domain was listed as being for sale in 2018 according to the Wayback Machine archive. There is no answer at their 888-295-7511 phone number. The domain name is available now if anyone wants it. Their old building has two empty canoe trailers in the yard as shown below but seems to be inactive.

The image linked above showing two canoe trailers next to the building appears to be from 12 years ago.
It appears that the Google street view car has only been down that road once. It seems that they were not building many canoes in 2013. The aerial photograph at the link below from 2025 shows a few more cars in the parking lot but no obvious signs of canoes or canoe trailers.

Thanks for the info, all.
I was so puzzled and thinking something was wrong with my search attempts.
To me it's quite sad because they were carrying on the Chestnut/Cedarwood traditions.
Hard to compete with the big box stores and plastic canoes.
