William English Paddles

My favorite paddle is a Shaw&Tenney Racine, which has a blade of similar width, but 4in longer. So, the blade area is bigger.

Would be great, if you could measure your chestnuts as well! In their old catalogues are shown two different blade shapes.

I will take some rough measurements for you.
Added
The Chestnut paddles are very similar dimensionally. The blades are 1/4 inch wider than the Peterborough paddle.
I rarely use my antique paddles now and often use my bending branches paddles.
Shaw and Tenney (I believe) makes some of the best modern paddles. If I didn't already have so many I would buy several from them. I have been tempted.
Images added.
Peterborough and Chestnut together. Dimensions (except length) and Chestnut decals are the same on the pair of Chestnut paddles. This pair of paddles came with a canoe I own.

2.5... It would be nice to upgrade, but it puts a smile on my face whenever there is a curve ahead... And buying a car here in merica right now....better have some deep pockets or a gun and a mask. IMS is a problem on 2.7.
I'm glad my Celebes showed up yesterday....it might have become unobtainium yesterday.
