Does anybody know a good shop to recanvas a canoe in the Upstate,NY area? I am thinking of stripping the paint on the inside and having new canvas installed.I would also like to have the canoe dipped so if anybody knows a shop that does that please let me know.

You probably will not get the canoe stripped at McGreivey's shop but he will do a good job re=canvasing it for you.

I was thinking of doing the interior myself and have somebody else do the rest.

What is he using for canvas these days? Is it treated with anything to prevent mold? Might be worth asking.

You might contact Pat Smith at West Hollow Boat Company just outside of Naples. He's a builder and I'm certain he could do a canvas job for you.
