Thickness of canvass

Does any one or can any one provide the approximate thickness of the different weights of canvas in thousandths. Thickness of #8, #10 and #12? Thanks

The page at http://www.ahh.biz/products/Natural cotton canvas fabric FNC008.htm says '#8 Cotton Duck, 18.00 ounces per square yard approximately .0385" thick.'

The page at http://www.ahh.biz/products/Natural cotton canvas fabric FNC010.htm says '#10 Cotton Duck, 14.73 ounces per square yard approximately .0310" thick.'

The page at http://www.ahh.biz/products/Natural cotton canvas fabric FNC012.htm says '#12 Cotton Duck, 11.73 ounces per square yard approximately .0295" thick.'

Canoe canvas may not be exactly the same.

I located a place in Calif. that has 7 oz. canvas. Anyone had a chance to use something like that? That's almost 5oz's less. Might be good on a 12-15 footer. Comments welcome.

Benson I looked at the web site on the canvas you posted. The prices are twice as much as you can buy canvas elsewhere.

He didn't post that site because of prices but because that supplier listed the thickness in thousandths in response to my question.
