Thanks to All of You

Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
I'm finished! Thanks to all of you who either knowingly or unknowingly offered the invaluable help and hand-holding needed to get me through my first (and maybe not last) restoration. It is a 1936 OTCA, painted the original black, with some personal decorations. (My wife is a muralist and there is a small Rufus Porter style mural on bow and stern...doesn't look half bad) There were only two MAJOR disasters. One occurred just before I was going to ask my wife to clime into the canoe to push it down into the canvas. Perhaps I will bring it to the next annual meeting?

Thanks again and

All the best

Bill's Canoe

Bill sent me these pictures of his restoration project and the final, beautiful result, saying it was okay for me to share them...

Congratulations, Bill!

Great job!

You can be proud of that!

Also, don't speak of the little mistakes...only you know and the rest of the world will never know...that's boat restoration!
