I Dont Know What The Gunwale Beam Or The Maximum Beam Is To Be Able To Take Those Measurements.

Hello Bradley,

Gunwale beam is measued across the centre of the canoe to the outside of the gunwales.
Maximum Beam is measured across the centre of the canoe to the outside of the hull. On a canoe with tumble-home sides approx. 4 to 5 inches below the gunwales. See below sketch.
