Sulfide Mining in northern Minnissota

Scary stuff indeed! But if we don't let them mine...Where will they get enough precious metal to make the CEO a new Rolex

It's sick...

We have been fighting against a proposed sulfide mine here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for years, and recently lost the battle. Yesterday, the last of the folks who were camping out on land considered sacred to the indigenous people here were arrested, and fencing has been erected, and all we can do is protest in front of the post office in town.

We are close to Lake Superior and worry that this sulfide mining operation will affect the big lake. Mines in Minnesota could nail Superior too (as the film points out).

Sad!
