Curious about Wooden Canoes
We got all the cedar ripped and beaded and coved a few weekends ago. It went smoothly with my friends excellent woodworking tools. waiting for the power feed to pull all the strips through the shaper twice took a while...
Leah and spent last night and tonight setting up the forms and they are all done now. We've also got her glider in the garage so things are a bit tight right now. We're taking the old fabric off it and recovering it, using Dacron and Stewart Systems finish which I think some of you might be familiar with from wood/canvas canoes.
Anyway, making progress...
