Somebody did well today with a Kennebec model

A colorful Kennebec model shown at https://www.lelandlittle.com/items/202417/kennebec-salesman-sample-sponson-canoe?departmentId=61 sold for a hammer price of $4,200 on Dec 6, 2013. The same model appears to have sold today at https://www.auctionzip.com/auction-lot/lot_4924842B75 for a hammer price of $10,000. They had estimated that it might sell for more so the buyer appears to have done well too. That isn't a bad return for a decade of ownership. Was anyone from this group involved?

I remember when this one sold at Leland Little back in 2013. It was part of a nice group of models from the Timberlake collection, all up for auction at the same time. I watched but didn't purchase anything that day.
