So who bought it?

Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
Did a WCHA member buy the Ebay canoe (Ebay #201034363118) that was advertised as a Crandell? I'm not entirely convinced it was a Crandell, I'm thinking Robertson. The decks look too wide, canoe is too full in the ends and the stem is too plumb. Seats are obvious replacements. Thwarts look right, untapered ribs look right, planking pattern looks right. I've been wrong before.

Wasn't me! I had questions about the sailing equipment and seats. It did look like it had the spacers on the stern seat and there was a shadow of what appeared to be a Crandell nametag, but it would be nice to see better pics. If someone here got it, please post up some good pics either here or in the Crandell canoe photo index.

I recall when that canoe was hauled into the lobby of the hotel the WCHA board meeting was held in a few years ago. Guess the decks weren't long enough...;):D

Ah yes.
