LOVES Wooden Canoes
The Old Town canoe with serial number 133721 is a 16 foot long, CS grade HW model with a keel. It was built between October, 1941 and February, 1942. The original exterior canvas covering was bright red. It shipped on August 5, 1942 to New York, NY. The Old Town canoe with serial number 110987 is a 17 foot long, AA grade HW model with a keel. The original stampings are light but the canoe was completed in August, 1933. The original exterior canvas covering was white. It shipped on August 30, 1933 to Peekskill, New York. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the attached thumbnail image below.
These scans and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
