The scanned records go to just over 250,000 and you have serial number 256585 so no one here can provide the record for your canoe. The scanned catalogs at http://www.wcha.org/store/complete-old-town-canoe-company-catalog-collection includes a full set from the 1980s if you want that information. The comments at http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.htm indicate that it shipped in March of 1984.
