I am looking to identify our old canoe, that we purchased, used, in the 1980's. It is 17 feet long, with wooden gunwhales and rawhide woven seats. It has a yellow, fiberglass shell, with what looks like a black canvas lining. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have a canoe from Garner Marine Technologies as described at http://uscgboating.org/content/manufacturers-identification-detail2.php?id=4410 that shipped in March of 1975. It appears that they went out of business in 1996 so there isn't much more information available.
