The Old Town canoe with serial number 176911 is a 16 foot long FG (fiberglass) model. It was built in October, 1966. The original exterior gelcoat colors were white on the decks and pale blue on the hull. It shipped on October 28th, 1966 to Jacksonville, Florida. The back side of the record indicates that it had a problem with a small ripple on the starboard rail. These scans and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
