Looking for any info on my canoe. Was given to me by the original owner with the original paddles and sales booklet from 1953. Wanting to know if this is truly a 1953 canoe

16' Old Town canoe serial # 160104

This Canoe looks like it is on the show room floor. Varnish is darken and the bottom is real dust. other than that not a scratch on it. The serial number is 162104. The owner said they received in 1954, 55, 56.
