Securing oars in a square stern.

We are working on a 1928 OT Sponson Sq Stern and the owner asked: "Have you ever seen any clamps that would hold oars securely when not in use for a boat like that ?"

How have other owners dealt with this?

Depends upon the definition of "securely". If you just want them held in place, some wooden brackets could be mounted. If you want held in place and theft prevention, try this:
