It's Blue mountain Lake in the central Adirondacks,
much quieter than lake george, great wildlife, eagles, loons,
greebs, minks, snakes, we evevn saw a blue tailed skink.
It was a great week and the canoe perforfed nicely under
paddle and sail with 475 lb. of gear and passengers.

Your Canoe Trip

Hi Michael,

Beautiful boat, beautiful location and I'm sure a totally memorable experience, but where are the PFD's for those kids?

Chris

Ooh! Chris is right. New York State law requires children under 12 years of age to wear a Type I or Type II life jacket when on board any vessel less than forty feet when underway. This includes rowboats and canoes.

I should have recognized Blue Mountain Lake - You are right - beautiful place to paddle, sail or just hang out!

Thanks for the heads up on the PFD's,
the kids normaly just sit on them being as they are bolth
good swimmers and very comfortable on the water.
