200 grains a round.... loose ball and patch, converted to percussion cap.

well since you guys are still drifting....I have an 1843 British trade musket and 1857 Lee Enfield P'53 both from overseas. Barrel walls on musket way to thin to try to fire. Enfield is a Snider conversion .577....these will remain on display!

Andre....that's a thump and a half. I use 95 grains of FFF and a bit of my wife's best pillow case for the 50 round ball. Check your PM's....
