Your grandfathers canoe was originally shipped to New Orleans on July 30, 1941 as a HW (heavy water) model in AA grade which was the top of the line. The gunwales, seats, decks and thwarts were all mahonany with a keel, floor rack and sponsons ordered as options. The original color was dark green and the build record is attached.
