Planking On Stripper

Curious about Wooden Canoes
As discussed here earlier I have started planking my Wee Too. So far so good its been a learning experience and I sure am glad I have listened and am taking my time. I have made some mistakes but I'm good with them and its going better now.
I have some questions and need some advise or tips
1) How many strips would be recommended to do at a time? Currently I'm doing 2 a side and then waiting a couple of hours then doing another 4.
2) Do the strips look right ….. there will be some sanding in my future.
3) How would you recommend I complete the strips as I get closer to the stem mold? I've shown a pic of how it may proceed ? I seemed to have mastered the bending of the strips so they sit right prior to gluing.
4) I'm wiping the glue and as you can see its leaving a residue which I'm assuming will sand out easily?
5) Being in Canada where would it be recommended I purchase the fiberglass and resin? West Marine seems to be poplar choice. what weight glass and type of resin?
So far its been fun and every day I see progress. Thanks in advance
